Gavin Rubinstein, the 38-year-old star of Luxe Listings Sydney, has proposed to his girlfriend of one year, Ruby Adler. The 31-year-old Made in Chelsea personality and the luxury real estate agent have had a whirlwind romance since ending previous relationships last year.
The news was confirmed on Tuesday, with Rubinstein revealing that Adler will take his surname, becoming Ruby Rubinstein, as reported by Realestate.com.au. 'We're yet to set the date, but we're going to enjoy our engagement,' said the co-founder of The Rubinstein Group.
The couple, who have been living together in Sydney for nearly a year, plan to spend time in London with Adler's family. Following that, they are expected to take a European holiday to celebrate, having reconnected in Europe during the summer of last year.
Daily Mail has reached out to both Ruby and Gavin for further comment. This announcement follows a prediction by Daily Mail's Lucy Manly that the couple would soon be engaged, after Ruby began removing tattoos from her hand, particularly those on her engagement finger.
The relationship between Ruby and Gavin first came to light in June last year, when Adler was accused of cheating on her co-star Reza Amiri with the agent. Ruby and Reza had been in an on-again, off-again relationship for ten years and appeared to commit to each other in the 2025 season of Made in Chelsea, which aired in May. However, just days after the season wrapped in April, Ruby flew to Los Angeles to spend time with Gavin.
Ruby quickly denied the cheating allegations, telling the Private Parts podcast in June that she and Reza were never in a committed relationship. 'I feel like it's been quite unfair with what is being written. They catch wind of something then words are spun and words are used that aren't true... This is a moment for me to just remind people: don't believe everything you read and I wasn't in a committed relationship and I'm definitely not a cheat,' she stated.
Reza and Ruby met in 2014 through mutual friends while enjoying nightlife in London's West End. They joined Made in Chelsea together in 2019, starring alongside close friends Sam Thompson, Sophie Habboo, and Melissa Tattam. Ruby has since left the series.
Gavin, star of Prime Video's Luxe Listings Sydney, had been single since April 2025 following his split from model girlfriend Holly Young. Ruby and Gavin first met over a decade ago while on separate holidays in Mykonos. 'We were on separate holidays staying at the same hotel and then we just reconnected recently. I was like 19 when I met him. He's like a familiar face, which is quite nice actually,' Ruby said last year.
