Frida Redknapp Reveals Marriage Rituals to Jamie

Frida Redknapp, the 43-year-old model and wellness advocate, has opened up about the daily habits that keep her marriage to former footballer Jamie Redknapp strong, admitting that "it's easy for couples to drift" when careers and family life become hectic.

Morning Routines as a Foundation

In an interview with Closer, Frida explained that she and Jamie prioritize quality time together each morning. "Every single morning starts the same way – we have our wellness shots, Jamie makes me a coffee (he can't cook, but that's his special thing!), and then we train together," she said. This consistent pattern helps them stay united despite demanding schedules.

Frida noted that sharing similar views on fitness and nutrition has strengthened their relationship. "Fitness and healthy living have always been huge parts of my life, but it's so powerful to share those passions with the person you love," she added.

Consistency Over Grand Gestures

Frida emphasized that small, everyday practices matter more than grand romantic displays. "A lot of people think you need grand gestures to keep a relationship strong. But for us, starting the day on the same page and moving our bodies together works wonders," she said. "It gives us dedicated time together, away from work and family pressures, and reminds us that no matter how hectic life gets, we're a team."

Blended Family Dynamics

Frida and Jamie married in 2021, three years after Jamie's divorce from singer Louise Redknapp in 2018. Frida has four children from her previous marriage to American financier Jonathan Lourie, while Jamie shares sons Charley, 21, and Beau, 17, with Louise. The couple also welcomed their son Raphael in 2021.

Frida revealed that patience has been crucial in helping their blended family flourish. "When new people come into a family, everyone needs time to adjust," she said. She credited their youngest child, Raphael, with playing a key role in bringing the family together. "All the siblings adore him and everyone wants to come home and spend time with him. He brings everyone into the same room without even realising it."

Family Meals and Connection

Frida also highlighted the importance of regular family meals. "Sitting down together, chatting about our days and spending quality time together has really brought us closer as a family. Those moments of connection matter," she said. "Looking back, the key has been giving everyone the time and space to find their place."
