Foo Fighters have sent a message to Liverpool ahead of their second and final show at Anfield Stadium tonight (June 27). The American rock band performed in the city for the first time on Thursday, June 25, and are now gearing up for their second concert.
Band Asks Fans One Question
In a post on Instagram, the band shared a message to their Liverpool fans, asking: "LIVERPOOL: DO YOU WANT MORE???" The post was accompanied by the official poster for the Anfield show, which features an eagle on the front of a car. The band also revealed the set times for the evening.
Set Times for Anfield Night Two
Doors open at 4pm. Support acts include Otoboke Beaver performing from 4.45pm to 5.15pm, and Inhaler from 5.45pm to 6.45pm. Foo Fighters are scheduled to take the stage from 7.15pm to 10.15pm.
Foo Fighters' History
The band was formed by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl after Kurt Cobain's death in 1994. What began as a solo recording project evolved into a full band when Grohl recruited additional musicians for their first live performances in 1995. Over three decades, Foo Fighters have become one of the world's most successful rock acts, with hits like "My Hero," "All My Life," and "Best of You."
Thursday's concert marked Foo Fighters' first performance at Anfield. However, Dave Grohl has previously performed at the stadium, joining Sir Paul McCartney on stage during the former Beatle's 2008 Liverpool Capital of Culture celebration concert.
The Liverpool ECHO will be at Anfield Stadium and across the city centre for the second Foo Fighters show, with a dedicated live blog for the latest updates.
