Emmerdale star Isabel Hodgins flew out of Manchester Airport with her husband Adam Whitehead just days after taking their daughter Georgie to the ITV soap's set in Leeds. The actress, who played Victoria Sugden for 20 years, departed the show earlier this year to go on maternity leave.
Summer Holiday Getaway
Isabel shared a selfie on her family Facebook page showing herself and Adam ready to board their flight, captioning it with a sunshine and plane emoji. The trip coincides with Adam's summer break from his teaching job. Fans sent well-wishes to the couple as they prepared for their holiday.
First Family Holiday
Earlier this year, the couple took Georgie on her first trip abroad to Cala d'Or, a family-friendly resort on Mallorca's southeast coast, about an hour from Palma. The area is known for its pine-fringed scenery and architecture.
Return to the Dales
Their latest getaway comes just a week after Isabel briefly returned to the Emmerdale set for a summer family event. She posted a video on Instagram showing Adam and Georgie around the outdoor set, including stops at The Woolpack pub and the Dingle garage. Isabel wrote: "Yesterday was special. For the first time, I got to show Georgie (and Adam) around the village that's been such a huge part of my life. I've been lucky enough to call this place work since I was 12 years old, so sharing it with my little family meant so much." She added: "GG's verdict? She'd quite happily move in."
Victoria's Exit Storyline
In the soap, Victoria's exit followed a dramatic storyline where she killed John Sugden in self-defence. After Joe Tate filmed the incident and blackmailed Robert Sugden, Victoria decided she needed a break and left for Portugal with her son Harry. In real life, Isabel went on maternity leave ahead of Georgie's birth.
Georgie's Arrival
Isabel announced Georgie's birth on February 11, 2026, at 1:02 am, weighing 8lbs 5oz. A video showed Isabel in labour, with the caption: "And then we heard you."
