Emily Atack Shows Off Boho Look in Summer Snaps

Emily Atack took to Instagram on Thursday to share a new boho look, posting snaps of herself in a chic black dress as she enjoys her new life in an idyllic village just 15 minutes away from her childhood home. The 36-year-old actress pouted for the photo, pairing her casual black dress with a chunky brown belt and red coral necklace, with her hair piled in a relaxed bun complementing her freckly tanned skin.

Family Life and Engagement

In another snap, Atack posted a sweet photo of her shirtless fiancé Alistair Garner placing flowers in a plant pot. The couple got engaged in July 2025 after welcoming their first child, Barney, in June 2024. The boho country-style suits the Rivals star's new home, as she moved to a village just 15 minutes from her mum earlier this year, leaving behind their lives in London.

Speaking to The Sun, a source close to Emily said: “She moved out of her family home 20 years ago but is now back living just 15 minutes from her mum in a neighbouring village. It’s all because of the man she fell in love with - and how he has given her the confidence to trust herself. She’s had the biggest success of her career to date since starring in Rivals and is now living the life she truly wants.”

Health Battle with Sepsis

Earlier this year, Atack opened up about a health battle with sepsis that led to significant weight loss after giving birth to Barney. While fans accused her of using weight loss jabs, she maintains the change is due to her illness. Speaking to Grazia, the former Inbetweeners actress said: “I was trolled for being enormous when I was pregnant and now I’m trolled for having lost weight. My body holds all my trauma as well as my happiness and joy. I went through a very difficult pregnancy. I was very ill after the birth. I had sepsis, I could not leave the house for weeks afterwards. It was awful. I’m just asking people for a little bit of patience and understanding at such a complex thing. Women’s bodies change all the time. I am so done with defending it.”

Return to Work After Birth

Atack returned to work just 11 weeks after giving birth to Barney for the hit TV show Rivals. Although she asserts she loved the experience, it proved very difficult on her postpartum body as she was still recovering. She told Hello Magazine: “It was a lovely job, but that was really tough. My body was still in pieces. I could barely walk, but I had to get back to work.”
