Dua Lipa to 'Shut Down' Sicily Squares for Second Wedding, NDAs Issued

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, who married in an intimate ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in London on Sunday, are planning a lavish three-day celebration in Palermo, Sicily. According to reports, the couple's wedding planner has been distributing non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to residents as they prepare to close off squares in the city for the event.

A source told The Sun: 'It's all very, very off limits. It's top secret. The security is private but the local police are involved with the organisation of the event. The squares they are going to close off are already pedestrian zones with no traffic.' Officials have reportedly used the excuse of a 'demonstration production in the square' at Piazza Sant'Anna and Piazza dei Vespri to erect barriers and keep pedestrians out.

The festivities are set to begin on Friday with drinks at Palazzo Gangi and the Galleria d'Arte Moderna. Guests will then head to the 17th-century Villa Valguarnera estate in Bagheria for the main ceremony, a venue recognisable from the opening credits of The White Lotus. Sir Elton John, a close friend of Dua, is rumoured to be performing. Traffic restrictions are already in place and will run until June 8.

Around 300 guests are expected, including Olivia Dean, Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, and Donatella Versace, who is rumoured to be designing Dua's second wedding dress. A source described the event as a 'true fairytale wedding', with the couple renting out multiple large venues for the multi-event extravaganza. Dua had previously told Vogue about the engagement: 'This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling.'
