Dianne Buswell has shared rare details about her relationship with Joe Sugg and her hopes for starting a family. The Strictly Come Dancing professional, 36, met the 33-year-old YouTuber when they were partnered on the 16th series of the BBC show in 2018.
Although they did not win the competition, romance blossomed. Six years on, Buswell told Prima magazine: 'When Joe and I met, it wasn't until the show ended that we realised we missed each other's company a lot – our relationship went from there.'
On children, she said: 'We've always wanted kids, it's just about finding the right time. I don't feel worried about taking time out from dancing. When everything aligns, it will happen.'
The couple, who live in the countryside, keep their relationship largely private. Buswell noted: 'Joe and I forget we're famous sometimes. It doesn't feel that difficult to have a relationship in the public eye.' However, she added that maintaining privacy around their home can be challenging.
