Dec Donnelly has debuted a new look, leaving his long-time co-star Ant McPartlin to tell him he now 'looks like a character out of Guess Who.' The pair reunited via video link for the latest episode of their podcast, where Ant immediately noticed the change in his friend's appearance.
Ant's Surprise Reaction
In a clip posted to Ant and Dec's joint Instagram page, which has over five million followers, Ant exclaimed: 'Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!' Dec replied: 'Whoa? Are we whoaing?' Ant confirmed: 'Of course we are whoaing! Do you have a beard?' Dec laughed as Ant continued: 'You do! You have a beard!'
Dec gave the camera a closer look at his new stubble, and Ant joked that he looked less like singer Alfie Boe than they had thought. Dec explained: 'We have obviously been off work now for about a week, so I haven't shaved for a week.' Ant commented: 'At last!' before joking: 'We thought it couldn't happen. I didn't think it could happen, but Dec has grown a beard.'
Guess Who Comparison
Ant then asked: 'Do I look like me with a beard?' to which Dec replied: 'Yeah, you look like Dec with a beard and glasses. You look like a character in Guess Who. Do you have a beard and glasses? Yes. I think it's Dec!' prompting laughter from his pal.
