Davina McCall has reportedly tied the knot with husband Michael Douglas for a second time, with the couple celebrating their love in a secret ceremony at their Kent home.
The TV presenter, 58, originally married celebrity hairdresser Michael in an intimate ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in December, surrounded by only their closest friends and family. Now, the newlyweds have reportedly exchanged vows again in a much bigger celebration with a wider circle of loved ones.
Details of the Celebration
According to reports, the couple "pulled out all the stops" for the special day, with guests treated to a fun-filled reception complete with tipi tents and a memorable arrival. A source told The Sun: "They went all out and invited friends and family to a bigger second wedding celebration on Saturday.
"Davina looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown. The reception was all about fun. After a ceremony, they drove into the reception on a tuk-tuk which got everyone laughing and cheering."
The insider added: "They had tipi tents erected and guests danced until the early hours. Davina and Michael really pulled out all the stops."
Health Challenges and First Wedding
The celebration comes after an incredibly challenging year for the presenter. The couple's first wedding took place just weeks after Davina revealed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She later underwent surgery to remove the lump after catching the disease early.
Michael also stood by Davina throughout surgery to remove a benign brain tumour, with friends previously suggesting the pair decided to marry after facing so many health challenges together.
Their December wedding was a much more low-key affair, with around 10 close friends and family members attending the ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall. Davina opted against a traditional wedding dress, instead wearing a white fur-look coat and lace hat as the couple posed for photographs outside the venue.
A source previously told The Sun: "Their wedding was perfect, exactly what they wanted. They chose a small venue close to their home, and just invited about ten of their friends and relatives to be there with them.
"It was very intimate and everyone who attended is very special in their lives. They've been through a huge amount in recent months, with Davina's health, and it just felt right to formalise their marriage. They didn't see the point in waiting."
Recent Health Update
Last month, Davina revealed she had completed her course of preventative radiotherapy following her breast cancer diagnosis. Sharing an emotional update on Instagram, she told fans: "I finished my radiotherapy today, and it was very, very emotional."
Holding back tears, she added: "Much more emotional than I thought it would be."
More recently, the presenter admitted she is stepping back from full-time work, explaining that her brain tumour diagnosis followed by breast cancer had made her reassess her priorities and slow down.
