A woman has revealed how her boyfriend was repeatedly stopped by fellow passengers during a cruise holiday because they believed he was the Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny.
Mia posted a video on Instagram showing several moments when her boyfriend Isaiah was approached by other travellers on the ship. The clip was captioned: "POV you went on a cruise ship with your boyfriend and people thought he was Bad Bunny."
Passengers stop boyfriend for photos
In the footage, Mia shared snippets of the times Isaiah was stopped by passengers who wanted to take pictures with him. She explained in the caption: "There are so many other pictures out there of him with people lol."
She added: "He gets allegations of looking like him here in SD but holy moly not like the amount he did on the cruise, him being half Puerto Rican didn't help the situation." The post attracted 70 retweets and dozens of comments.
Social media reacts to the resemblance
Commenters found the situation amusing, with one writing: "Love this for him." Another said: "I am howling!" Someone else commented: "Haha I'm dead," while another added: "And he takes his role very serious, love it."
Bad Bunny's recent achievements
Bad Bunny has had a busy year, having performed at this year's Super Bowl and becoming the first Latino to headline a sold-out show at Tottenham Hotspur's stadium in June. The 32-year-old, known for his signature curls, also turned heads with his Met Gala look a month earlier, appearing as an old man.
His career began after his music on SoundCloud went viral while he worked as a supermarket bagger. He is currently touring on his DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour in support of his 2025 album of the same name.
