Coronation Street Confirms Audrey Roberts' New Boyfriend After Absence
Corrie Reveals Audrey's New Boyfriend in Fresh Update

Coronation Street has confirmed that Audrey Roberts has found love again. The character, played by Sue Nicholls, has been absent from the cobbles for months, sparking concern among fans. In Monday's episode (July 20), the Platt family gathered to send a birthday video message to Audrey, revealing she has a new boyfriend while living in France with her daughter Gail.

Audrey's Romantic History

Audrey has been a staple on the soap since her debut in 1979. Her love life has seen many highs and lows, including her marriage to Alf Roberts in 1985 and his tragic death in 1999. She later had a romance with butcher Fred Elliott and was engaged to con man Lewis Archer, who died suddenly in 2019.

During the episode, Harry Platt mentioned they were making a video for "Granny Audrey, to show her new boyfriend." Bethany Platt asked if he was French and rich, to which David Platt quipped, "What do you think?"
