Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd and his wife Hanni Treweek have welcomed their first child, a daughter named Constance Ita Shepherd, born on June 26. The couple shared the news on Instagram with a photo of the baby's hand holding theirs, captioned: "Our beautiful baby girl has arrived, born peacefully at home, surrounded by love."

Shepherd, best known for playing David Platt on the ITV soap since 2000, received congratulations from fellow cast members. Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) wrote: "Congratulations- gorgeous news," while Georgia Taylor (Toyah Battersby) said: "Oh darling! So thrilled for you both and what a beautiful name xxx." Marriage and Family Life
The couple married at Manchester Cathedral in July 2025. Treweek posted on Instagram after the wedding: "Introducing Mr & Mrs Shepherd. Words cannot describe how beautiful yesterday was for us – it was more than perfect. The love & energy in the room (and outside) was incredible – our hearts are truly full.
