Coleen Rooney was spotted running errands in Cheshire wearing a £1,420 Miu Miu polo, days before her new Primark collection launches on July 28. The 40-year-old, who shares four children with husband Wayne Rooney, was seen in a pink stretch-cotton polo shirt from the luxury designer, available at Harrods.
In contrast, a brand photoshoot for the upcoming collection shows Rooney modeling the "Coleen snug tee" – a striped white, black and brown T-shirt retailing for £6, paired with blue denim jeans worth £18.
Second Primark Collection
Rooney's second collection with Primark will be in stores from July 28, with prices starting at £6. She said: "The response to the first launch was incredible and I'm so excited to share this next collection." She added: "When we started working together, I wanted to create clothes that genuinely fit into everyday life, and that's exactly what we've continued with this collection. As we move into autumn, it's all about versatile pieces that you can layer, dress up or down and wear again and again."
Her youngest son Cass, eight, modeled some of the kidswear options. "Having Cass as part of the kidswear photoshoot was special," Rooney said.
Designer vs Affordable
The cost difference is stark: 236 of the £6 Primark tees could be bought for the price of one Miu Miu polo, according to calculations. The Miu Miu polo is listed at £1,420.
