Christina Aguilera has shared a sultry bathtub photo on Instagram, posing completely naked while covering her breasts with ghost emojis as a nod to Halloween weekend. The 45-year-old singer captioned the image: "Last looks before xtinaween."
Fans react to the sultry snap
Fans flooded the comments section with fire emojis, with one writing: "Godamnit Xtina what are you cookinggggg." Another commenter joked about hoping for new music, writing: "Hope this year's costume is 'Pop star releasing new music soon.'"
This is not the first time Aguilera has posed in a bathtub recently, as she shared a similar picture to promote her sexual wellness brand, Playground.
Body image and acceptance
Aguilera has been open about her changing body image. In 2024, she wrote on Instagram: "Acceptance comes with accepting yourself first. And the difficult journey it takes sometimes to get there. I celebrate everyone taking the time to put one step in front of the next every day in order to build the next version of themselves for the better. Allowing yourself grace, patience and respect."
She continued: "No one else can dictate who you are. No one deserves an explanation. I am evolved enough to know that nothing comes easy, and no one is perfect. Everyone will judge you. No matter WHAT you do. And/or what you don't do."
In an interview with Glamour, she said: "When you're a teenager, you have a very different body than when you're in your 20s. I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, 'Oh, she's getting thicker.' Then I had industry people: 'They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager.'"
She added: "I have a maturity now where I just don't give a [expletive] about your opinion. I'm not going to take it on. It must be your responsibility to take up your space. Other people's opinions of me are not my business."
Fans await new music
Fans continue to express anticipation for the pop legend to release new music, as hinted in the comments on her latest post.
