Cheryl Shares Rare Photos of Son Bear on Disney World Trip

Cheryl Tweedy, the former Girls Aloud star, has shared rare photographs of her nine-year-old son Bear during a trip to Walt Disney World in Florida. Bear is the son of Cheryl and the late Liam Payne, who died in 2024 at the age of 31.

The singer posted on Instagram about the magical experience, writing: 'Somewhere in the corners of the world Magic still exists... I completely escaped into my inner child for the last couple of weeks.' The post was met with an outpouring of support from fans, who were delighted to see her enjoying herself.

Cheryl was accompanied by Liam's sister, Ruth Gibbins, along with Ruth's husband and son. Ruth described the visit as 'bittersweet' given Liam's fondness for the resort. The group visited attractions including Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Mania!, and the Floating Mountains of Pandora in Animal Kingdom.

Fans noted how much Bear has grown, with some commenting that he has started to resemble his father. One wrote: 'Bear has grown so much! I'm glad you visited this magical place, so beloved by Liam.' Others remarked that Bear 'had Liam's walk'.

True to her longstanding approach, Cheryl ensured Bear's face remained hidden in all shared footage to protect his privacy. Liam Payne died on 16 October 2024 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as polytrauma.
