Charlotte Crosby Hits Back at Former Geordie Shore Co-Stars Over 'Gossip'

Charlotte Crosby has criticised her former Geordie Shore castmates after they were caught on camera discussing her behind her back. The reality star, who quit the MTV show last summer after 12 years, took to Instagram to thank fans for their support and address the situation.

In a statement, Crosby wrote: 'I haven't had a chance to watch the new eps of Geordie Shore yet, but I don't think I will. I really was quite clueless as to conversations that were being had behind my back by ‘friends’.' She added that she had been dealing with personal struggles, including having a baby, losing her grandmother, and supporting her mother through a cancer diagnosis.

The new episode appeared to show cast members Marnie Simpson, Chloe Ferry, and Nathan Henry talking about Crosby at Simpson's wedding. Fans expressed their support, with one branding the former pals 'Mean Girls' and another saying 'Unhappy people do unhappy things.'

Crosby first joined Geordie Shore in 2011 and left in 2016 before returning for a reunion last year. However, she has no plans to return, describing the experience as 'terribly wrong.' On her podcast, she revealed that a row over a high chair led to her departure, saying: 'I felt an immense amount of guilt... I just left.'
