Celebrity Traitors Fans Spot Claudia's Twist Clue

Fans of Celebrity Traitors are convinced they have uncovered a surprise twist for the upcoming second series after analysing the BBC's announcement video. The show, which is set to begin filming this weekend in the Scottish Highlands, features a star-studded cast of 21 celebrities. However, viewers have noted that this is two fewer than the 22 contestants who typically take part in the non-celebrity version, and one more than the 19 stars who appeared in the first celebrity series.

Clues in the Announcement Video

Taking to Reddit, one fan speculated: "Only 21 cast members, a secret 22nd or a late drop-out?" Another suggested: "I could see them bringing an early out from season 1 back as a surprise cast member like Paloma or Tom." A third added: "Danny Dyer was extremely heavily rumoured for this so it'd be funny if in Episode 2 he just gets thrown in like a grenade." These theories have gained traction among the show's dedicated fanbase, who are eager to see what host Claudia Winkleman has in store.

The Star-Studded Line-Up

The confirmed cast includes a diverse range of famous faces such as Michael Sheen, Ross Kemp, Hannah Fry, Joanna McNally, Amol Rajan, James Acaster, Richard E. Grant, Bella Ramsey, James Blunt, Jerry Hall, Joe Lycett, Julie Hesmondhalgh, King Kenny, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya Jama, Miranda Hart, Myha'la, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Sebastian Croft, and Sharon Rooney. These celebrities will compete for a cash jackpot of up to £100,000 for their chosen charities.

Filming Begins

Filming is scheduled to commence this weekend, with celebrities already arriving at Inverness airport. Once filming starts, the group will undergo lengthy interviews with Claudia and the production team before being divided into Traitors and Faithful. The show is expected to air in the autumn, and early betting odds from Ladbrokes have Miranda Hart as the favourite at 3/1, followed by James Blunt at 6/1, Rob Beckett at 7/1, and Joanne McNally at 8/1.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes commented: "Miranda Hart makes perfect Traitors material – she’s quick-witted, likeable, and smart enough to stay under the radar. Punters think she’s well equipped to go deep in the game, which is why she leads the early betting."
