Cat Deeley, the 49-year-old This Morning presenter, was seen enjoying a date with movie executive Charlie Coleman at a Lewis Capaldi concert in London's Hyde Park last Sunday. The sighting comes 12 months after her separation from husband Patrick Kielty.
Date Night at BST Hyde Park
Deeley and Coleman were spotted in deep conversation during the Scottish singer's set at the BST Hyde Park festival. Coleman, a senior figure at Amazon MGM Studios, wore a casual navy t-shirt, light shorts, and a baseball cap, while Deeley opted for a comfortable black playsuit. At one point, she was seen touching his shoulders as they enjoyed the music.
A source told The Sun: "The pair were all smiles, laughing and animatedly chatting. At one point, Charlie touched Cat’s bare back affectionately, and she was also tactile with him as they sipped on drinks in paper cups. They seemed very relaxed with each other and shared several jokes. She was whispering in his ear, and they were bopping to the music. They didn’t seem to care who could see them."
Life After Split from Patrick Kielty
Deeley revealed she was single last July following the breakdown of her 13-year marriage to Northern Irish comedian and presenter Patrick Kielty. The couple, who have two children, Milo and James, had lived in Los Angeles for several years before returning to the UK in 2020. In a joint statement to the PA news agency at the time of their split, they said: "We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved. We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment."
Open to Dating Again
In May this year, a close friend of Deeley's revealed she was open to dating again and fully enjoying the benefits of single life. The source told The Sun: "I don’t think I’ve ever seen her like this before. There’s just a lightness to her now. She’s saying yes to things she might have dismissed in the past, especially with work, but also in her real life off-screen." The friend added that Deeley had been "really open" and wasn't holding back, including being more herself on TV and simply "enjoying her life much more."
The source also noted that Deeley had made changes to her famously private home life, filming brand projects at home, which was a significant step given her and Kielty's previous privacy. "She’s even letting people see more of her home life inside her house - she’s filmed a few big brand projects at home, which is quite a big step for her as she and Patrick were extremely private but I guess she is just more relaxed with herself, she’s not overthinking anything and just saying yes to everything that fills her cup," the source said.
