Brooklyn Beckham has promised to 'always protect' his wife Nicola Peltz in a gushing post celebrating one year since they renewed their wedding vows.
Renewing Vows Away from Family
The couple originally married in 2022 with a lavish ceremony, but earlier this year Brooklyn claimed his mother Victoria's behaviour—particularly 'dancing inappropriately'—had tarnished their day, as he now looks back on it with "anxiety" and "embarrassment".
They renewed their vows on August 2, 2025, to redo the affair. Brooklyn explained: "We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment."
Anniversary Posts
One year on from the intimate renewal, which his parents weren't invited to, Brooklyn, 27, shared a sweet Instagram post featuring an image of them clutching wine glasses while on holiday, and another in a tight embrace.
He captioned the snaps: "Happy anniversary Nicola I can’t tell you how much I love you x you are my best friend and I love you more than life itself xx"
"I am so lucky to be able to call you my wife xx you are my absolute princess and I promise to always protect you xx."
Nicola, 31, shared similar snaps, including one of them kissing while holding wine glasses, and gushed: "Happy anniversary my love."
"You make life so beautiful, thank you for being the most amazing husband I could ever dream of."
Near Miss with Parents
Their posts come after earlier this week, Brooklyn and Nicola risked an awkward run-in with his parents when they holidayed just moments apart in France.
They were spotted just five minutes away from one another as the couple went out for shopping and ice cream while his parents visited a restaurant down the road.
