Britney Spears' son Jayden Federline has broken his silence to defend his mother against 'ridiculous' rumours that she has died and been replaced by a clone. The 19-year-old slammed the conspiracy theories during a livestream, calling them 'exaggerated and fake'.
Son calls out TikTok conspiracy theories
Speaking on a livestream, Jayden said: 'I hop on TikTok and everyone on TikTok—I see this one video that has 1.2 million likes, and the caption is like, “The biggest theory ever: Is Britney Spears still alive?”' He added: 'Like, bro, you can go to her page and see her right now.'
Jayden expressed frustration at how quickly such stories spread, saying: 'People know how gullible people are and they use that to their advantage. Anyone that sees it, they just see it and if it has a lot of likes, they [believe] it. They don't even research it.'
Britney's emotional reunion with son
The popstar reunited with Jayden in March 2026 following her DUI arrest. She described the meeting as emotional, saying: 'He came back and he feels older and smarter than me !!!. He's a man and I cry everyday of my life because of the miracle and genius he is!!! When he plays the whole earth shakes!!!'

Clone rumours not new to celebrities
Britney is not the only celebrity to face such claims. For decades, some have believed Paul McCartney died in a 1966 car crash and was replaced by an imposter. Similar theories have targeted Avril Lavigne, Miley Cyrus, and Eminem, with some suggesting the rapper died around 2006 and was secretly replaced by an Illuminati clone or robot.
