Big Brother Star Nikki Grahame Dies Aged 38

Reality TV star Nikki Grahame, best known for her appearances on Big Brother, has died at the age of 38. Her representative confirmed that she passed away in the early hours of Friday, 9 April 2021.

Grahame, from Northwood in London, had recently been receiving treatment for an eating disorder at a specialist clinic. The treatment was funded by a fundraising campaign organised by friends and fans.

She rose to fame as a contestant on the seventh series of Big Brother in 2006, finishing in fifth place. In 2010, she was a runner-up in Ultimate Big Brother. Grahame also authored two books about her experience with anorexia nervosa: Dying to Be Thin (2009) and Fragile (2012).

A statement on the GoFundMe page said: “Nikki not only touched the lives of millions of people, but also her friends and family who will miss her immensely.” Former Big Brother host Davina McCall paid tribute on Twitter, calling Grahame “the funniest, most bubbly, sweetest girl”.
