Beckham Brothers Display Family Unity with Fresh Ink Amidst Sibling Rift
In a striking display of familial devotion, Romeo and Cruz Beckham have publicly revealed new tattoo tributes dedicated to their loved ones. This heartfelt gesture comes in the wake of revelations that their estranged older brother, Brooklyn Beckham, has systematically covered up his own body art honouring the family.
A Family Divided: Brooklyn's Public Severance and Tattoo Removal
The world-famous Beckham clan has been engulfed in significant turmoil over recent weeks. This follows Brooklyn's very public decision to sever ties with his parents, David and Victoria, alongside his siblings. The 26-year-old confirmed his permanent estrangement through a scathing, six-page statement, explicitly stating he harbours no intentions of reconciliation.
Subsequent developments have shown Brooklyn taking physical steps to erase family connections from his body. New imagery confirms he has covered up a prominent tattoo tribute to his father, David. Previously located on his upper right arm, the ink once clearly displayed the word 'dad' alongside the affectionate message 'Love you Bust'—David's cherished nickname for his firstborn son. The area is now obscured by nondescript shapes and a star, with the text faded and barely visible.
Further evidence suggests Brooklyn has also removed references to his siblings. Tattoos honouring Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and their younger sister Harper, 14, which were recently visible on his arms and fingers in a cooking video, have now been inked over entirely. Notably, his numerous tattoos dedicated to his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, remain prominently displayed.
Romeo and Cruz Respond with Permanent Tributes
In stark contrast, Romeo and Cruz Beckham have used social media to demonstrate that their bonds with family remain unbreakable. The brothers visited the renowned Fine Line Hearts Club tattoo parlour to acquire their new ink.
Romeo chose to have the word 'family' tattooed elegantly on the back of his neck, a permanent and visible declaration of his priorities. Meanwhile, Cruz paid a romantic tribute to his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, by adding a stylised letter 'J' to his torso. The couple underwent their tattooing sessions together, with Jackie selecting the word 'providence' for her own piece—a term defining the protective care of God or nature as a spiritual power.
The Instagram snaps captured the pair in a series of playful moments during the process, underscoring the positive and intimate nature of their visit, which stands in opposition to the family discord.
Future Grandchildren and Adoption Plans Add Layer to Feud
The familial estrangement takes on an additional, poignant dimension with reports that Brooklyn and Nicola are actively planning to start a family. A source close to the couple has indicated they desire a 'brood' of children and are firmly aligned on the idea that at least one child should be adopted.
'They both know they come from a place of unimagined privilege and therefore strongly want to give back; offer a disadvantaged baby or child the best possible life. They have talked extensively about it,' the source revealed. This potential development could represent a significant blow to David and Victoria, who have long expressed their adoration for the idea of becoming grandparents.
Brooklyn strongly hinted at future family plans in his damning statement last month, concluding: 'My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.'
In a 2022 interview, Nicola acknowledged Brooklyn's eagerness for children, stating, 'He wants kids yesterday,' while she preferred to wait 'a couple of years.' She confirmed their shared ambition for a large family, noting, 'We definitely want a big family. He has three siblings, and I have seven.'
The contrasting actions—Brooklyn's removal of family ink and his brothers' addition of it—visibly symbolise the deep rift within one of the world's most scrutinised families, even as new chapters concerning future generations begin to unfold.
