An eyewitness has revealed the surprising off-camera antics of BBC Sport pundits Wayne Rooney, Micah Richards, and Joe Hart during the World Cup Final between Argentina and Spain. The trio, known for their serious analysis on screen, let loose with dancing, filming, and light-hearted banter when the cameras stopped rolling.
Dancing and Banter Behind the Scenes
Zak Garner-Purkis, who was seated near the BBC team at the New York/New Jersey Stadium, observed that the former footballers frequently broke into dance during breaks. Rooney was seen bobbing his head, Hart swayed side to side, and Richards bobbed up and down, suggesting a regular off-camera routine. The dancing intensified during hydration breaks, with Hart wiggling his hips and all three swaying in unison to the music, with Richards leading the moves.
Filming the Atmosphere
