Former Strictly Come Dancing professionals Karen Hauer and Gorka Marquez, both axed from the show this year, reunited with current and former cast members at Bad Bunny's concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 27 and 28 June. The group danced in a VIP box, with videos posted to Instagram showing them enjoying the performance.
Reunion in the VIP Box
Karen Hauer, who had been a pro on Strictly for over a decade before her shock exit earlier this year, posted several videos to her Instagram story. One clip showed her and her partner Simon Davidson dancing as Bad Bunny performed, with the camera panning to reveal Gorka Marquez shimmying behind them. Gorka also posted from the concert, panning his camera across the VIP box to show other Strictly stars, including Jowita Przystal, who remains on the show.
In another clip, Karen and former It Takes Two host Janette Manrara sang along to Debi Tirar Mas Fotos, a track from Bad Bunny's sixth album. Both are Latin American and screamed the Spanish lyrics, while Janette's husband, Aljaz Skorjanec, also a current Strictly pro, attempted to sing along but struggled with the language.
Strictly's Major Shake-Up for 2026
The reunion comes amid a major overhaul of the Strictly cast ahead of the 2026 series. Longtime hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly announced their departure during the 2025 series, and have been replaced by former pro dancer Johannes Radebe, Emma Willis, and Josh Widdecombe. Several pro dancers have also been axed, including Karen, Gorka, Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk, and Michelle Tsiakkas. Their replacements have not yet been announced.
Janette Manrara, who joined Strictly as a pro in 2013 and left in 2021 to present It Takes Two, was also dropped from that role this year alongside co-host Fleur East.
History-Making Concert and Other Celebrities
Bad Bunny's two-night performance was the first UK stadium concert headlined by a Latin American artist. He played to approximately 50,000 people on the first night alone, according to reports. The Puerto Rican rapper had a landmark year, performing at the Super Bowl Half Time Show and winning a Grammy for Album of the Year with DtMF, the first Spanish-language album to win that award.
Other celebrities spotted at the concert included Maya Jama, who was brought on stage to dance in Bad Bunny's casita, a segment previously featuring Pedro Pascal and Jessica Alba. Adele, who is from Tottenham, attended with her fiancé Rich Paul, wearing an England jersey and reportedly borrowing a fan's hat. Margot Robbie was also seen in the crowd, wearing a denim bucket hat and waving a green fan. Munya Chawawa and Ella Eyre were among those photographed in the Hennessy Club VIP section.
