However, when directly confronted by The Daily Mail about the meaning of the accessory at Sports Illustrated's 'The Party' in Daly City, California, during Super Bowl LX celebrations, Madix's reaction was telling. Navigating a Bicoastal Romance
Madix and Wai have been a couple for nearly three years, following her dramatic and public split from ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval after his affair with a mutual friend was exposed. Their relationship has been long-distance since 2023, with both based on different coasts. "We both are very bicoastal, so we do a lot of traveling back and forth together," Madix explained to The Daily Mail at another Super Bowl event, Shaq's Fun House, when questioned about potential relocation plans.
The geographical separation has not hindered their bond. "The miles between them haven't interfered in their connection," as both prioritize their careers while making time for each other.
