Former The Apprentice star Jessica Cunningham has given birth to her sixth child, joking she's 'going to need a bigger' car.
Jessica, 39, revealed her pregnancy in March and has now welcomed a daughter, Dolores Joy Juno, to her family following a home birth. The businesswoman posted pics of herself beaming at the camera as she held her child whilst lying in bed, and another of the baby, whose face was hidden by a red heart emoji as her parents held her hand.
Jessica's Announcement
The star shared two more pictures of her and her baby along with a caption where she joked she would "need a new car" to ferry around all her children. "IT'S OFFICIAL I am a Mama of 6!!!!!!" she wrote. "I need a new car."
Jessica also revealed that she had opted for a home birth, rather than having her daughter in hospital. "On Monday baby Dolores Joy Juno arrived on her due date, in our beautiful family home, in the water, with the sun shining and over looking the garden, and to the song 'baby love' – to say it was perfection is an understatement.
"My heart and family feel full and complete. The birth was amazing, I had so much gratitude for my body being able to hold and birth this little lady, Alex [Daw, her partner] for being my warrior king, holding my hand, boiling the pans for the water and just being there".
Promise to Share Birth Video
She also promised fans that she would share the "full video" of her birth story, "because it was insanely amazing". Jessica continued: "I am total bliss and the best moments of my life were when each of her siblings met her for the first time.
"I don't really share the kids on socials, they are my little sacred people, but if I did your hearts would melt at their reactions. Hence why this is the only pictures I'm sharing of my little Da loo loo. Anyway, I'm offline for a while whilst I focus on nappies, feeding and snuggles!"
Family Background
Jessica is mum to five other children. Her eldest three, Poppy, Olive and Hattie, are the children she shared with Alistair Eccles, while her younger three, Digby, Dudley and now Dolores, are Alex's children.
Alistair died in 2017, two years after Jessica shot to fame on The Apprentice. He committed suicide after a night of drinking and snorting cocaine, an inquest heard. 35 at the time, Alistair was found dead in a friend's flat. The inquest heard that he had a history of anxiety and depression.
Jessica and Alistair had already separated by his death. She provided a statement at the inquest, which read: "We had three children together but we had difficulties and separated in September 2014.
"When we separated I lived in another part of the country and he still saw the children and we were in contact with each other very regularly.
"We texted a lot and he saw the children every other weekend and he seemed to have a good life and it seemed to be on track. There were normal text messages and they flowed regularly about the children. I was contacted by his family to say that he had passed away."
Engagement to Alex
Jessica is now engaged to Alex, who popped the question whilst they were in Dubai in 2023. She shared the news on Instagram, writing: "OH MY GOSSSSSSH!!!!! I'm getting MARRIED / Hunky chops asked me to be his WIFE!!
"I actually can't believe it, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Alex is just one amazing human being. Kind, loving, loyal, funny, caring and the love of my life. He has taken on the three girls as their own, given me two incredible sons and together we have a pretty epic family. I've gone from the girl that felt unlovable to feeling like the most loved woman in the world. Hold the faith. True love IS out there."
