In a particularly relatable and humorous episode, Dec shared a cringe-worthy mishap involving his wife Ali Astall's credit card, which left him fearing domestic repercussions.
A Dinner Out Turns Sour
During the podcast's Thursday episode, the ITV Limitless Win hosts discussed their weekly activities. Dec recounted a recent Saturday night dinner out with Ali and their two young children, daughter Isla and son Jack. He explained that, like many modern individuals, he no longer carries a wallet, relying instead on his phone for payments.
"Me and the current Mrs Donnelly went out for dinner on Saturday night. I don't know about you now, but I don't take my wallet anywhere," Dec said, with Ant agreeing that he follows the same practice for convenience.
The Fateful Handover
Dec continued, detailing how Ali typically carries a credit card as a backup. "She said, 'I'm going to take the kids to the toilet' and I said, 'leave me your credit card, I'll get the bill, just in case my bleep-bleep doesn't work'. So the bill comes over and I tried my bleep-bleep, and it worked," he narrated.
After a pleasant evening, the family returned home, put the children to bed, and enjoyed a lovely night. However, the mood shifted when Ali discovered her credit card was missing. Dec protested his innocence, insisting he had returned it to her at the restaurant.
The Panic and Realisation
Ali searched thoroughly, checking her coat, bags, and the children's belongings, but to no avail. Dec advised her to call the bank and block the card to prevent potential fraud, which she did. The situation took an embarrassing turn for Dec the following morning.
"So I was on my way here this morning, putting these jeans on," Dec admitted, prompting Ant to erupt with laughter and exclaim, "It's in your pocket!" Dec awkwardly confirmed, "She doesn't even know. Literally on the way here today... it's blocked, but I found it! But I'm going to get killed for this."

Offering no sympathy, Ant mercilessly responded, "Yeah you are going to get killed! That's very you, that is such a you thing to do!" He then impersonated Dec's handling of the situation, mocking his failure to check his own jeans.
