Declan Donnelly, one half of the beloved TV duo Ant and Dec, has announced his New Year's resolution for 2026: to get fit and healthy. The 50-year-old presenter revealed the plan during the launch of their new podcast, 'Hanging Out With Ant & Dec'. Dec admitted he also attempted Dry January but only lasted eight days, joking that a stressful day with his children led him to open a bottle of wine.
In contrast, Ant McPartlin is focusing on expanding his vocabulary. He explained that his 20-month-old son Wilder is starting to speak more, prompting Ant to curb his swearing. He has downloaded a 'word of the day' app to help him find alternative expressions. Ant, who has been sober for nearly eight years, expressed pride in Dec's brief Dry January effort.
The pair, who rose to fame on 'Byker Grove', now host major shows like 'Saturday Night Takeaway' and 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!'. Both are fathers: Dec to Isla, seven, and Jack, three; Ant to Wilder and step-daughters Poppy and Daisy. In December, they signed a new ITV deal reportedly worth £30 million, securing their presence on the channel until 2028.
