Amy Childs 'shaken' as robbers trash her £1.7m mansion

TOWIE star Amy Childs has been left "shaken" after returning from a family holiday to discover her £1.7million Essex mansion had been ransacked by thieves.

The 36-year-old TV personality was away with her husband Billy Delbosq and their three children, Polly and twins Billy and Milly, and had been sharing snaps of their trip before learning of the break-in.

Heartbroken and grateful

A source told The Sun: "Amy and her family returned from holiday to find that thieves had broken into her home and completely trashed the place."

They added that she was "heartbroken" by the destruction but "grateful" they weren't home during the robbery.

"She’s absolutely heartbroken. She is just grateful that she and the kids were away when it happened, because it would have been terrifying if they had been there when the burglars came," the source said.

Police investigating

"She can’t even bear to think about that but it’s still left her shaken. At the moment, she isn’t sure exactly what’s been taken as the place is totally wrecked and police have been there along with forensics."

The source described the ordeal as "a total nightmare". A representative for Amy confirmed the burglary to The Sun, stating no one was hurt and police are investigating.

Recent posts showed lavish home

Amy had previously shared images of her mansion on social media. In June 2025, she showed off her new pool, captioning a post: "I have just come and sit here by the pool feeling the luckiest girl in the world."

Just a week before the burglary, she shared a loved-up post kissing her husband on holiday and pictures of her daughters in matching outfits at dinner.

She wrote: "Having the most Beautiful time with the Family…making memories that will last forever." She added: "Polly and Milly are totally inseparable, seeing this makes me so [emotional emoji] I wished I had a sister growing up got Wills instead (only joking) the bond is unbreakable."

Amy is also mother to Ritchie, born in 2018, who turns eight later this year. She has kept her eldest child out of the spotlight after an agreement with his father.
