Amy Childs devastated as £1.7m home ransacked

ITV star Amy Childs has confirmed that her £1.7m Essex mansion was 'burgled' while she and her family were on holiday. The 36-year-old TOWIE star said she is 'devastated' and 'taking some time to process everything'.

Statement on Instagram

In a statement shared on Instagram, Amy wrote: "Many of you have reached out after hearing what happened, so I just wanted to say thank you. Unfortunately, our home was burgled while we were away."

She added: "We're devastated, but so thankful that no one was in the house and everyone is safe. We're taking some time to process everything and really appreciate all of your messages."

Family safe

Amy lives in the five-bedroom property with her husband Billy Delbosq and their four children: twins Billy and Milly, and Polly and Ritchie from previous relationships. The couple moved into the home in May 2024.

A source told The Sun: "Amy and her family returned from holiday to find that thieves had broken into her home and completely trashed the place. She's absolutely heartbroken."

Holiday snaps before break-in

Just days before the incident, Amy had shared holiday photos, including a picture of her kissing Billy. She wrote: "Having the most Beautiful time with the Family… making memories that will last forever. Polly and Milly are totally inseparable, seeing this makes me so I wished I had a sister growing up got Wills instead (only joking) the bond is unbreakable."

The source added that Amy is unsure what was taken as the place is 'totally wrecked', with police and forensics at the property.
