Amanda Holden Wows in Yellow Bikini, Flees Storm Austen

Amanda Holden, 55, stunned in a bright yellow bikini while on holiday in Abu Dhabi, sharing photos on Instagram that showed her enjoying the sunshine as Storm Austen battered the UK.

The Britain's Got Talent judge jetted off with her husband Chris Hughes, 54, and posted sizzling snaps of herself in the two-piece from Melissa Odanash, stepping out of the waves and beaming for the camera while accessorising with shades.

Joking About the Weather

In her caption, Holden quipped: "Apparently Britain has gone with the wind!! I've gone with the sunshine. Love Abu Dhabi, Just me and Chris!"

The couple's decision to travel appears timely, given the storm conditions at home, and Holden has previously spoken about the importance of humour in her relationship with Chris, telling MailOnline: "Chris and I have always been able to find humour in the darkness. He doesn't dwell on drama. Sometimes people don't get his humour and I'll say to him, 'Leave the room, you're not reading it very well'."

Keeping the Spark Alive

Holden has also shared that Chris sometimes chases her around the house "like Benny Hill" and that they enjoy regular date nights. She explained: "There's no wokery in our house. We don't hold anything back, and we have strong opinions."

She added: "We try to have a date night every Thursday when we go to the theatre or have dinner, or we lock the door and watch Netflix and the kids just have to do their own thing."

Fitness and Diet

To stay in shape, Holden runs regularly, does yoga, and follows the "Viking Method," which involves squat thrusts, boxing, bunny hops, jumps, and crawls. However, she has insisted she is not too strict with herself and still enjoys food and drink.

She told The Times in 2023: "I am not a slave to any beauty or fitness regime because I love food too much. I eat cheese and butter and I love a drink." She added: "But the deal I struck with myself was I have to run for my rosé wine in the summer and run for my red wine in winter. And I don't do it because I feel I have to; I do it for my own discipline and dignity."
