Amanda Holden has cheekily told fans she is giving them “what they want” as she shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Britain's Got Talent. The presenter, 55, took to Instagram to document a day in the life of a BGT judge as she prepared for auditions in Blackpool, but the seaside weather was far from glamorous.
Cheeky suggestion for the crowds
She captioned the clip: “I came for a standing ovation. I got a thorough soaking THANKYOU Blackpool - entrance ruined!” In her new clip, Amanda had a cheeky suggestion for how to win over the crowds.
“I think give the people what they want, which is nipples,” she joked in the clip, before introducing the first day of filming for her 20th series on the ITV talent show. Despite describing Blackpool as “sunny”, Amanda made it clear the weather was anything but, poking fun at the dreary seaside backdrop.
Outfit regrets and dressing room tour
“Brown sea, brown sky, brown sand, brown Mandy,” she quipped, as rain threatened to put a dampener on her big day. The star also admitted her outfit choice might not have been the most practical for the conditions, joking that she had worn a statement piece while battling the kind of fine rain that soaks straight through.
Thankfully, there was a little luxury to look forward to, with Amanda giving fans a glimpse of her Lexus car before heading inside to get ready for the auditions. But things weren't much warmer in her dressing room. Amanda could be heard asking for the heating to be turned up, before inspecting the room's makeover.

“I don't mind the panelling. Carpet is not me,” she joked, before questioning whether her chair was new. The star's followers were quick to react to the video, with many celebrating the show's return while others had thoughts about her outfit.
