Alison Hammond has been "named and shamed" by an ITV co-star after he claimed she "scared the s***" out of him when she stayed over at his place. Alison, the co-host of The Great British Bake Off, is known for her fun-loving nature and infectious laugh.
Rylan's Story on Alan Carr's Podcast
BBC Radio 2 presenter Rylan Clark told Alan Carr, winner of The Celebrity Traitors, that Alison once stayed at his home and frightened him. Speaking on a recent episode of Carr's Life's a Beach podcast, Rylan recounted the incident.
Rylan said: "She came round and stayed not long after you. Did she skinny dip? My god, I've seen all of her. She did not - and I'm gonna name and shame. Now, if I was, like, say if I come up to your castle, you know my face would be cleansed before I get in that bed."
"Scared the S*** Out of Me"
He continued: "There'd be a bit of skincare on. You won't even know I'd been in there. Three days later, I walked up to my - to the third floor that I don't normally go to, to be fair, like the guests' bit."
Rylan joked: "Walked up there because I needed to find a suitcase. I literally looked, and Alison was still in my bed. She hadn't taken any of her face off, and her entire faceprint, lipstick, but she obviously just fell asleep. She was still in my bed. Still in my bed - scared the s*** out of me. I thought she'd been living up there for three days."
Alison's Recent Health Scare
In related news, Alison revealed last week that she had an injured wrist on ITV's This Morning. It came weeks after she suffered a health scare and had to cut short a live segment while clutching her chest. She was taken to hospital but later reassured fans in a video, saying she'd had a panic attack.
On a more recent episode of the daytime programme, Alison wore a wrist support for an injury sustained while filming a TikTok video. Co-host Dermot O'Leary asked: "Can we go one week without some sort of crisis? No, this isn't an MJ (Michael Jackson) style; this is because […] what happened?"
What Happened to Alison's Wrist
Alison explained: "I was doing a little TikTok with my friend and basically there was a rock in the middle of the floor and I didn't see it because I had sunglasses on. It was a decorative rock. I didn't have my glasses on, didn't see the rock.. fell over the rock."
The Great British Bake Off airs on Channel 4 tonight (October 20) from 8pm to 9.15pm.
