90s Pop Star Ann Lee Looks Unrecognisable During UK Tour Comeback

Ann Lee, the voice behind the 1999 Eurodance hit '2 Times', has been spotted looking almost unrecognisable during her UK tour comeback. The singer, now 55, was photographed with choppy blonde locks, a stark contrast to her signature short dark hair from her heyday.

Lee, whose real name is Annerley Emma Gordon, originally from Sheffield, quit the UK in 2005 and now lives in Italy. She continues to be involved in music, writing tracks and even co-writing the iconic dance song 'The Rhythm of the Night' by Corona.

After the success of '2 Times', which reached number two in the UK charts, Lee released follow-up 'Voices' which peaked at number 27. Subsequent singles like 'Ring My Bell', 'So Deep', 'No No No', and '2 People' failed to chart. She also released two albums: 'Dreams' in 1999 and 'So Alive' in 2007.

In a past interview, Lee explained her hiatus from music after having a son in 2005, saying she wanted to be a full-time mother. She also revealed financial struggles before her breakthrough, working with orchestras and doing ballroom dance music to get by.
