Migrant Crisis at Ceuta Border
In Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta, soldiers find a migrant hiding in a tunnel, and an injured migrant returns to Morocco with assistance. Spanish authorities report that 70,000 of the estimated 72,000 migrants who crossed into Ceuta have returned to Morocco. At least 88 people died in Ceuta, according to local officials, and another 11 in Morocco.
War in Ukraine and Gaza
In Gaza, a beekeeper tends to hives on a destroyed building's roof, having lost his 400 hives during the war. Mourners attend funerals for families whose remains were recovered from rubble. In Ukraine, a volunteer paramedic helps an elderly woman during an evacuation, and a teenager watches flames rise from a warehouse after a Russian missile attack on Kyiv.
