A topless celebration by two caddies during a women's golf event has resurfaced on social media, leaving fans stunned. The footage, from the 2024 Solheim Cup, shows Alison Lee, 31, producing an incredible 86-yard chip on the second hole of a four-ball session, with the ball spinning back into the hole.
Celebration goes viral
As Lee celebrated with her team-mates, two caddies appeared without their shirts to mark the remarkable shot. The video, which has reappeared on the eve of the 2026 tournament at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands, quickly went viral.
One fan joked on social media: "Didn't think I'd ever see a 'shirts off' celebration in women's golf." Others expressed mock disappointment upon realising it was the caddies. "I've been hoodwinked, tricked, bamboozled, lied to, and more. Please mass report to save others!" one user wrote, while another said: "There is false advertising, there is misleading advertising!"
Lee's return to the course
The Solheim Cup swings into action on Friday, with Lee as part of Team USA after taking a career break to become a mother. Speaking about her return, she said: "I'm just going to do everything I can, just tell myself absolutely no regrets looking back and just try really hard for this next probably year to maybe two years to just play the best golf I can because realistically I feel like I've thought about my future a lot, and moving forward I do want more kids.
"I want a bigger family...I think, if I were to have another baby, I think it would be ten times more difficult to try and come back and play. So I've really told myself like, hey, this next year, 2026-2027, I'm just going to do everything I can to possibly - I possibly can to play the best golf I can and say that I have no regrets."
