Weight Loss Journey

In recent years, Shaun has undergone an impressive weight loss transformation. Speaking to Gambling.com, Shaun revealed the secrets behind his transformation.

“I've lost weight — I've lost about two and a half stone — and that's because of the fact that, A, due to the Jane Plan diet I've been on, and more importantly, I train three times a day to keep myself fit,” Shaun said.

The Jane Plan diet allows customers to choose from over 80 "perfectly portioned" and calorie-counted options, which include favourite breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. According to their website, they "follow NHS guidelines with our nutritionally balanced, calorie-counted meals, and complement your plan with all the support you need, when you need it."

Daily Routine and Motivation

Sharing his routine, Shaun explained: “So every single morning I get up, I do what's called a 300-pound kettlebell challenge, then I do squats. Then in the afternoon, I'm meeting my professional trainer, and I train with him. So I keep myself fit every single day. And I eat healthily.”

Shaun then went on to reveal what inspired him to drop the pounds, saying, “Who wants to keep excess weight? I don't. So, I'm getting older, and the older you get, the harder it is to shift. So you've got to actually look after yourself health-wise.”

Shaun has also been open about his weight-loss journey online, in a bid to inspire others. Last year, he shared motivational messages and pieces of advice for followers.

He shared: “Make a conscious decision today to start a daily exercise program and start looking after your future self.

“It is a well-known fact that people over the age of 55 don't meet the recommended levels of physical daily exercise, increasing the likelihood of heart disease, high blood pressure and a stroke. Please, please, do daily exercise, it keeps you healthy and it keeps you wise.”

The Chase airs Monday to Friday at 5pm on ITV1.
