The Good Housekeeping Institute has named the Tesco Finest British Free Range Bronze Turkey Crown with a Pork, Cranberry and Chestnut Stuffing as the best turkey crown for Christmas 2026.
The product, priced at £65.80 for a 1.85-2.35kg bird, scored 84/100 in a blind taste test conducted by the consumer experts. It beat a range of fresh and frozen birds from UK supermarkets and online butchers.

Each turkey crown was cooked strictly according to the packet instructions before being served blind to eliminate brand bias. The panel evaluated a variety of weights and styles, including both fresh and frozen options.
The Good Housekeeping Institute said: "A clear favourite with our panellists, Tesco's turkey crown is beautifully tender with a sweet pork, cranberry and chestnut stuffing that cuts through the buttery richness of the meat. Moist and full-flavoured, it's a crowd-pleasing centrepiece that takes some of the hard work out of Christmas dinner."
