Swift and Kelce Wedding Schedule Revealed via NYC Permits

City permits have revealed the full schedule for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, set to take place on July 3, 2026, in Manhattan. The event, described as the most anticipated showbiz wedding of the year, will begin at 5 p.m. local time and run until the early hours of July 4, with several blocks around Madison Square Garden closed during the busy holiday weekend, according to The Mirror.

Permit Details and Street Closures

The permit application, filed for a "Special Event at MSG," was approved on Wednesday night by New York City's permitting office, a spokesperson for Mayor Zohran Mamdani confirmed. Police released details on Thursday afternoon indicating that from Friday afternoon, multiple blocks surrounding the arena will be closed to vehicles and partially restricted to pedestrians.

The schedule, as reported by AP news, includes a pre-party on Thursday, July 2, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for 100 guests only, ending at 10:30 p.m. On Friday, July 3, a full street closure of W. 31st St between 7th Ave and 8th Ave will be in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. A cabaret tent and a 25ft x 180ft drive-through tent will be erected, with crew call at 2 p.m., doors opening from 3-5 p.m., and the main event running from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. The event continues into Saturday, July 4, from 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m., followed by tent strike and load-out until 7 p.m.

Secrecy and Guest Information

Donna Kelce, mother of Travis Kelce, is reportedly being kept in the dark about many arrangements, a source told the Daily Mail. "They actually haven't told Donna very much, she is just going with the flow. They're letting her know where she needs to be and when she needs to be there. They have a driver for her," the source said. This approach applies to all close guests, with information shared on a strictly need-to-know basis to prevent leaks. "Everyone is on a 'need to know' basis. I think she likes it that way. It's not a stress. Travis told her what type of clothes she'd need and basically everything is going to be easy for her," the insider added.

The couple is taking extraordinary measures to ensure privacy, with the source noting that even those closest to them are only told where to go next upon arrival at each location.
