Strictly's Maddie Ingoldsby supported after moving into new home

New Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Maddie Ingoldsby has received an outpouring of support after revealing she has moved into her own home ahead of her debut on the BBC One show.

Maddie is one of five new professional dancers joining the programme, as announced last month. She will be joined by Aleksandra Isaeva, Cristian Priori, Lethabo Monametsi and Mark Karmalita when the 2026 series returns in September.

New chapter begins

The five new pros were announced after Gorka Marquez, Michelle Tsiakkas, Karen Hauer, Nadiya Bychkova and Luba Mushtuk were confirmed to be leaving Strictly earlier this year. They will join returning professionals Alexis Warr, Aljaz Skorjanec, Amy Dowden, Carlos Gu, Dianne Buswell, Jowita Przystal, Julian Caillon, Kai Widdrington, Katya Jones, Lauren Oakley, Nancy Xu, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin and Vito Coppola.
