Strictly 2026: Start Date, Line-Up and New Presenters

Strictly Come Dancing has confirmed its full 2026 line-up, with YouTube star John Nellis and actress Melanie Walters completing the roster. The BBC has not yet announced an official return date, but the show is expected to air in September as usual.

Line-Up Completed

John Nellis, known for sports content, and Melanie Walters, who played Gwen in Gavin and Stacey, join a cast that includes Lacey Turner, Dani Dyer, Delta Goodrem, Chris Appleton, Cach Mercer, Will Best, Dame Sarah Storey, Jaime Winstone, Bethany Antonia, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Graeme Hall, Lawrence Robb, and Tabby Stoecker.

New Presenting Trio

The 2026 season follows the exit of Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, replaced by Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe, and Josh Widdicombe. The BBC announced the trio in May, with executive producer Sarah James saying the combination was "unexpected, but their magic was undeniable the moment they came together".
