The Strictly Come Dancing 2026 Movie Week is officially in the record books, with one contestant leading the leaderboard after the second live show.
As is tradition with the special edition of the BBC dancing competition, the stars got dressed up as a variety of characters from some of the biggest movies of all time, from The Greatest Showman to Risky Business.
New hosts and celebrity guests
New Strictly hosts Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe continued to get to grips with Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman’s old roles. Just like last week, Emma and Josh were on the dancefloor while Johannes was up in the Clauditorium.
Fans were buzzing when they spotted West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen early into the show. The England international was sitting in the crowd to watch his wife, Dani Dyer, dance the Foxtrot to Beauty and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast with Nikita Kuzmin.
Other highlights from the night included Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley’s Waltz to The Godfather Waltz from The Godfather, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr’s Salsa to You Should Be Dancing from Saturday Night Fever, and Chris Appleton and Amy Dowden’s Cha Cha to I’m Always Here from Baywatch.
