A 16-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Bolton. Police were called to Withins Lane in the town on Saturday evening, where officers found the teenager with injuries consistent with a stabbing.
He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing at this stage.
Police appeal for information
No arrests have been made, and Greater Manchester Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. In a statement, the force said: "At around 6.30pm this evening (Saturday 3 October 2026), we were called to reports of an incident on Withins Lane in Bolton."
"Officers attended the scene and located a 16-year-old boy with injuries consistent with a stabbing. He has been taken to hospital for treatment however injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening or life-changing at this stage."
