Cartoonist David Squires has marked the 25th anniversary of David Beckham's heroics for England against Greece at Old Trafford with a new illustration.
One-man rescue act remembered
The cartoon, published in the Guardian, commemorates the England midfielder's decisive performance in the World Cup qualifier. Beckham's late free-kick secured the point England needed to qualify for the 2002 World Cup.
Availability of the artwork
The illustration is available to purchase as a cartoon, alongside other works by Squires. His latest book, Chaos in the Box, is also available to buy.
