Sienna Spiro has been named Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards, cementing her status as one of the UK's most exciting new music stars.
The London-born singer picked up the award at the 2026 VMAs on Sunday night, after also performing during the ceremony in Los Angeles.
The 21-year-old beat fellow nominees including Sombr, Stella Lefty, Alex Warren and Katseye, with the category decided by fan voting.
Who is Sienna Spiro?
Sienna Spiro is a London-born singer-songwriter who has become one of the most talked-about new voices in contemporary pop. Despite a relatively small back catalogue, she has built a huge following thanks to her powerful vocals, deeply emotional lyrics and a blend of modern pop with soul and jazz influences.
Her sound draws inspiration from artists including Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Frank Sinatra and Frank Ocean, while she has also received praise from the likes of SZA and Snoh Aalegra. Spiro began writing songs when she was ten years old before finding an audience on TikTok.
One of her early covers, Donald Glover's Redbone, racked up more than 6.7 million views and helped establish her vocal ability. She released her debut single NEED ME in May 2024, followed by MAYBE. in August that year.
The latter became a breakout hit, amassing millions of streams and appearing on Spotify's Viral charts in the UK, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Her next singles TAXI DRIVER and BACK TO BLONDE followed later in 2024, before her debut EP SINK NOW, SWIM LATER arrived in 2025.
But it was Die On This Hill that propelled Spiro into the mainstream. The emotional ballad became her first UK Top 10 single and earned support from BBC Radio 1 and Capital FM. She has since amassed more than 170 million streams and performed around the world, including a support slot on Teddy Swims' US tour.
When can you see Sienna Spiro in London?
Spiro will return to her hometown for a run of shows at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith next March. She is scheduled to perform on Thursday, March 4, 2027; Friday, March 5, 2027; Saturday, March 6, 2027; and Monday, March 8, 2027. All four shows are at the Eventim Apollo, with doors opening at 7pm.
The shows are part of Spiro's My House Tour, which also includes dates in Edinburgh and Manchester. All four Eventim Apollo dates are currently listed as sold out, with fans able to add their names to waiting lists for remaining tickets.
How much were Sienna Spiro tickets?
Tickets for the London shows originally started at £43.25, including full-price standing options. Seated tickets were priced at £52, while some restricted-view standing tickets were also £43.25. The tickets are currently unavailable, with Eventim describing the shows as sold out.
Fans can still keep an eye on official ticketing platforms for any further availability, rather than relying on unofficial sellers. With Spiro having just picked up one of the biggest awards of her career, demand for her London shows is unlikely to slow down anytime soon.
