Ronnie O'Sullivan and his wife, Laila, have launched a joint Instagram account, giving fans a glimpse into their private life. The couple, who married last summer after briefly splitting, now live in Dubai.
New joint account
The account, @rosunplanned, is nearing 5,000 followers. On his own profile, the seven-time world snooker champion wrote: "It's all unplanned and unedited. All we do is eat tbh. See you there."
The first post on the joint account read: "Hi. Welcome. This is us. Unfiltered, uncouth, unhinged and unplanned. No inspirational quotes from us. No feigned positivity. No more f***s to give. Follow along if it sounds like your kind of thing. Laila and Ronnie."
Couple's journey
O'Sullivan and Laila, an actress, began dating in 2012 after reportedly meeting 'by accident', with the snooker star proposing a year later. They were engaged for more than a decade before splitting in 2024, only to rekindle their relationship and marry.
The couple moved to Dubai, which O'Sullivan said provides a convenient base for tournaments across the Middle East and China. Earlier this year, he said: "It's really good. I've got a great practice facility there, which was one of the main reasons for going. I was struggling to find somewhere to play. It was either get a train up to Sheffield or try to move to Sheffield, but my wife wasn't too keen on Sheffield so she said we either go Spain or Dubai. And I thought, well, Dubai is nearer China, obviously it's in the Middle East. All the tournaments that I play and all the work that I do is there. It just made sense to go to Dubai."
