The Red Arrows will take to the skies above Merseyside again today, Sunday August 30, as they take part in the Southport Air Show for the second day running.
As the official aerobatic display team of the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force, the Red Arrows regularly entertain attendees at air shows and events across the world. This weekend, the team have soared through the sky above the Southport Air Show, and they are set to take part again today.
Saturday's display and today's schedule
On Saturday, August 29, the Red Arrows delighted attendees with their showcase of speed and precision flying. Fortunately, if you're unable to attend the Southport Air Show today, there is still a chance to see them above Merseyside.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is hosting the team this weekend, so they'll be travelling from Liverpool to Southport again today.
An airport spokesperson told the ECHO: "The Southport Air Show is a great annual event and to have this in our City Region means that we often have some of the aircraft participating spend some time here at the airport during the two day event, and we are delighted to host the world famous Red Arrows once again between their displays."
