Emmerdale icon Sadie King has been causing non-stop drama since returning to the village. Following the death of her ex-husband Jimmy King (Nick Miles), Sadie returned after a 20-year absence, claiming to have been having a secret affair with him. But it soon became clear that Sadie has been lying to his current wife, Nicola King (played by Nicola Wheeler), and is trying to get her hands on his cash, which Jimmy had hidden without a trace.
Patsy Kensit's Return to Emmerdale
Patsy, 58, made her debut on the ITV soap as Sadie King in 2004, when the character touched down by helicopter as the glamorous and scheming spouse of Jimmy, and stayed around for two years. Two decades on, it appears Sadie is set on taking everything Jimmy owns.
Although Patsy is currently appearing as Sadie King in Emmerdale, she recently appeared in the competing BBC soap EastEnders. In December 2022, Patsy revealed she was joining EastEnders as Emma Harding, the distant mother of cancer patient Lola Pearce (Danielle Pearce). Following being located by Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and his cousin Billy (Perry Fenwick), Emma turned up in Walford in January 2023 and remained until September.

Patsy has appeared in an extensive array of beloved television programmes, including Holby City, Agatha Raisin, and McDonald and Dodds. Patsy is equally familiar with cinema, boasting numerous film credits including The Great Gatsby, Hanover Street, Lethal Weapon 2, and Shelter Island. She also participated in Strictly Come Dancing in 2010, achieving 7th place, and Celebrity Big Brother in 2015.
Four Marriages and a Broken Engagement
Beyond the ITV drama, Patsy Kensit has been married four times and enjoyed prominent relationships. In 1988, Patsy was 20 years old when she tied the knot for the first time with keyboard player Dan Donovan, a member of Big Audio Dynamite alongside The Clash legend Mick Jones. Yet marital happiness proved fleeting as the couple divorced just three years later.
She subsequently married Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr in 1992, welcoming their son James before the relationship ended. In 1997, the actress discovered love again and wed Oasis vocalist Liam Gallagher, with whom she had a son, Lennon, before their union concluded in 2000. Kensit later married Haysi Fantayzee's DJ Jeremy Healy from 2009 to 2010.
In 2023, Patsy was reportedly preparing to walk down the aisle for a fifth time after an alleged five-week courtship, following her engagement to boyfriend Patric Cassidy. Reports suggest the property magnate proposed over dinner, after being introduced through mutual acquaintances just months earlier. Nevertheless, the engagement was terminated shortly afterward, with Patsy's representatives confirming that the relationship had concluded. Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV and ITVX.
