Oasis fans rushed to secure tickets for the band's 2027 tour on Friday morning, with some reporting a smoother process than last year while others were left disappointed. The first batch of tickets went on sale via Ticketmaster at 9am on Friday (September 25).
42 dates across UK, Europe and US
The Britpop band, fronted by brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, are set to play 42 dates on their Live '27 tour. They will perform multiple shows in Manchester, Glasgow, and Knebworth in Hertfordshire, where two additional dates were added due to "phenomenal demand".
Oasis will also play at Ireland's Slane Castle as well as Paris, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Rome, Las Vegas and Boston. Fans who pre-registered are being sent unique ticket codes allowing access to one of nine online sale windows across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Mixed reactions from fans
Liam Gallagher told fans on X: "GOOD LUCK RASTAS" to keep morale high. Some fans reported an easier experience than last year, which saw long queues and surging prices.
One fan wrote: "Just bought two tickets for Knebworth. A much easier process, no issues with the queue." Another said: "8:30am entered waiting room. 9am 504th in queue. 9:06am checked out with tickets secured. Easiest it has ever been to get tickets. Very well organised!" A third added: "Much easier buying process this time!"
However, others were gutted. One wrote: "Every f****** seat or standing ticket I try to buy! 50 year old sat here crying into my cornflakes! It’s going to be f****** carnage too! Gutted!" Another fumed: "Ticketmaster is s***!!! Fucked me off just like last year"
Scam warnings and code distribution
Some fans were worried about not receiving their codes yet. Oasis confirmed access codes are being sent between Thursday and Sunday, urging fans to check their inboxes.
Fans were warned about potential ticket scams before the sale. An email read: "IMPORTANT: WE HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE OF POSSIBLE OASIS TICKET SCAMS. As ticket information and unique codes are about to be distributed, please remain vigilant. Scammers may attempt to impersonate Oasis, our mailing list or our ticketing partners. Anyone promising you a code that does not come directly from Oasis is not genuine. Please do not accept a code that is not sent by oasis@openstageit.com Any codes that are offered for sale are fraudulent and will not enable you to buy tickets. Code emails will be sent only between Thursday 24th September and Sunday 27th September. Please check your junk/spam folder for genuine emails, but remain vigilant. If you receive a suspicious message, do not click any links or make any payment."
