Oasis 2027 Tour: Knebworth and Etihad Dates Revealed

Oasis are set to return to the road in 2027, with plans to play Manchester City's Etihad Stadium in June and then return to Knebworth, the site of their iconic 1996 concerts, in September. Sources close to the band confirmed the venues to the Mirror, and full confirmation of the tour and ticket prices is imminent.

Countdown to Ticket Sales

Fans are bracing for another scramble for tickets in a matter of weeks. Last week, the promoter of the Oasis 2025 reunion tour secured a licence to host events at Knebworth, just days before the 30th anniversary of the band's historic concerts there. The band has been teasing fans with throwback videos and photos, including the song 'Acquiesce' and original ticket stubs, with Liam Gallagher responding to the band's post: 'We want MORE.'

When asked about the reported 12 nights at the Etihad, Liam replied to a fan: '12 I thought it was 10 ffs.' To another fan desperate for dates, he said: 'You are not the boss we will announce when the time is righteous.'

Licence and Capacity

The new licence granted by North Hertfordshire Council to SJM Concerts allows events for up to 125,000 people at Knebworth House, with live music and dance performances permitted until 03:00. The licence remains in place indefinitely, but full dates for the shows are not yet confirmed.

The band's former publicist Johnny Hopkins expects the shows to happen and anticipates tickets to be reasonably priced, possibly cheaper than the most expensive tickets at the Oasis Live 25 reunion shows. At a Q&A event, he said: 'I imagine they will do it more reasonably. I was really surprised the tickets were done in the way they were. Ticketmaster put their hands up and took the blame for it.'

Announcement Timing

The Mirror understands that any official announcement about tickets for the 2027 shows is being held back while the new documentary 'Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger' is promoted. The London premiere takes place on September 7, and tickets could go on sale after or around this date. Both Noel and Liam are expected at the London premiere and the world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.

The Manchester dates, thought to be a total of 12 nights, were first revealed by the Mirror's sister paper, the Manchester Evening News. Anticipation grew after it was revealed that the city's Parklife festival had shifted its schedule to July 10-11, 2027, compared to previous mid-June dates. Multiple sources say Oasis are gearing up for a long stay in Manchester, with both Noel and Liam being big Manchester City fans.

Tour History

The band is also set to play a run of six concerts at Knebworth, with other European dates heavily rumoured but UK dates more concrete. The reunion announcement in 2024 came 15 years after Noel quit the Britpop band, saying he 'simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer' following a backstage brawl at Rock en Seine in Paris. The 2025 tour kicked off in Cardiff, visiting Manchester's Heaton Park, London's Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park, before heading to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America.
